Professora Rebecca
Professora Rebecca is a native North American speaker who has been teaching English for over 15 years. She is currently teaching at the University of Aveiro in Portugal, and UNAVE where she develops professional training courses such as Business English and Intercultural Relations. Online, via Skype, she teaches English to people all around the world. She does translations and editing as well. Five years ago Prof. Rebecca created and directed a writing training program for a group of Spanish-speaking psychotherapists at the largest mental health clinic in the Northeast of the United States. Along with the program, she developed some materials to help people with their writing skills, as well as an online component to the writing program.

Writing Challenge Key



The Writing Challenge Key is a list of the top 20 most common areas of challenge for people writing in English as a second language. It is designed to be used in collaboration with writing exercises which can be sent to and corrected by Professora Rebecca.



· Click on the link of the corresponding challenge and read the information and do the exercises.

· Sometimes you have to read for a while until you find the exact grammatical point on the page to be worked on.

· Sometimes (although rarely) the web page you access will be informative without exercises. If this is the case, feel free to use it as a resource. You can go to another page to do more exercises.
